Do I need to prep my skin before my appointment?Just arrive with a clean face if you can. No makeup, please. Avoid using exfoliating scrubs or active ingredients (like retinol, AHAs or chemical exfoliants ) for at least 72 hours before your appointment. To prevent irritation, please avoid haircuts, beard trims, or eyebrow grooming for at least 48 hours before your appointment.

How often should I get a facial?For most clients, every 4–6 weeks is ideal to maintain healthy skin and support long-term results. If you’re addressing specific concerns like acne or hyperpigmentation, we may recommend more frequent treatments initially.

How do I know which facial is right for me?We’ll help you decide! During your first visit, we assess your skin and recommend the best treatment based on your skin type, concerns, and lifestyle.

I’ve never had a facial before. What should I expect?Don’t worry, you’re in good hands. Each facial begins with a thorough consultation to understand your skin concerns, history, and goals. From there, we customize your treatment using professional-grade products and techniques to leave you glowing without overwhelming your skin. Our approach is always progressive, not aggressive. We never start with advanced treatments or peels on first-time clients. Your skin's health and long-term results are our top priority.

Is there downtime after a facial?Most of our treatments leave you ready to glow and go! In some cases, like with advanced treatments or chemical peels, you may experience mild to moderate flaking. But don’t worry, we’ll always walk you through what to expect before your service and explain the benefits in detail. You’ll also receive clear, easy-to-follow aftercare instructions to ensure your skin heals beautifully and continues to improve in the days that follow.

What skincare products do you use during treatments?True skin transformation starts with effective products. That’s why I exclusively use professional and medical-grade skincare backed by clinical research. Do I need to stop using my current products?Most likely, yes. Many over-the-counter products contain pore-clogging ingredients or irritants. We'll review everything you're using and transition you to an acne-safe routine that supports your skin’s healing.

What products will I be using?You'll be placed on a custom regimen using A.C.N.E. Solutions Corrective Skincare, our exclusive clinical-grade line formulated specifically for acne-prone and melanin-rich skin. These are the same products I’ve used for over a decade to help clients transform their skin.

How long is the program?The program typically runs for 12 weeks, with bi-weekly in-office treatments and progress check-ins. Every journey is unique, so treatment plans may vary depending on your skin's response.

Can I do this if I’m on prescription acne meds?If you're currently on prescriptions, we’ll need to evaluate whether our program is the right fit. In some cases, we may recommend pausing certain topicals before starting. We’ll discuss all of this during your initial consultation.

Are the products included in the program?No, products are purchased separately. Why? Because each client’s skin is unique. After your consultation, we’ll build a customized regimen using the A.C.N.E. Solutions Corrective Skincare line, and tailor it to your skin’s current needs.

How soon will I start seeing results?Many clients notice visible improvements within 4–6 weeks. But clear skin is a journey, not an overnight fix. With commitment and consistency, long-term results are absolutely achievable.

Is this safe for darker skin tones?100% yes. I specialize in treating ethnic skin and only use treatments and products that are safe and effective for all complexions, especially melanated skin.

We combine professional treatments, personalized product recommendations, and one-on-one guidance every step of the way to get you clear and help you stay clear.

Will I purge or break out more in the beginning?For most clients, no. However, everyone's skin is different and some clients experience a brief purging phase as the skin starts to detox and clear out congestion. This is temporary and a normal part of the process. Should this occur, we will guide you through it with care.

Do I have to come in every two weeks?Yes, consistency is key. Bi-weekly treatments allow us to safely exfoliate, extract, monitor your progress, and adjust your plan as needed to maximize results.

What happens after I complete the program?Once your skin is clear, we shift into Maintenance Mode, customizing a plan to keep your results long-term. You’ll continue using the right products, come in for seasonal treatments as needed, and receive ongoing support to keep your skin glowing.
